Katrin Schuller is an artist based in Würtzburg in Germany. She specialises in work where lines become language. With a 10-year career in the fashion industry behind her, Schuller took the plunge and started her career as an independent artist in 2023. As an introvert in a largely extrovert world, she uses art as a way to process her emotions. With a deep fascination for structures, materials, surfaces and colour combinations, Schuller’s work is often made up of a single line.

Working on raw cotton or pure linen, the creative process does not allow for mistakes, as no line can be corrected or painted over. This style of working requires absolute confidence and focus.
